Kask WHE00146 Zenith X2 Full Brim Helmet
The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim Helmet is a premium industrial safety helmet engineered to deliver advanced head protection, superior comfort, and versatile compatibility with accessories. It is designed for demanding work environments such as construction, electrical work, utilities, telecommunications, maintenance, and work at height.
This helmet provides full-brim coverage, offering enhanced protection against sun, rain, and falling debris while maintaining a modern, ergonomic design.
Meets or Exceeds ANSI Z89.1 Type I Type II, Class E HT-LT
Features:
Yes, for most jobsites. The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim (WHE00146) is certified to ANSI Z89.1 Type I and Type II, Class E, HT-LT, and KASK describes all-around protection against impact and penetration at the front, rear and sides — while a traditional Type I full brim hard hat is built mainly for top impacts. It pairs an HD polypropylene shell with a Neopor® Ccycled® EPS inner shell by BASF, a chinstrap with a Ring to Hook attachment loop, Class E electrical protection proof tested at 20,000 volts, and KASK's flexible Adaptive Brim™, which is designed to reduce the likelihood of neck strain in a fall. The full brim still gives all-around coverage from sun, rain and falling debris.
The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim helmet meets ANSI Z89.1 Type I and Type II, Class E, HT-LT. Type II covers impacts to the top and sides of the head, Class E means electrical protection (proof tested at 20,000 volts, per KASK), and HT-LT means it is rated for high- and low-temperature use. KASK also tests it to selected clauses of the European EN 12492 standard: shock energy absorption for front, lateral and rear impacts (4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3, 4.2.1.4), retention system strength (4.2.3) and effectiveness of the retention system (4.2.4). It adjusts from 52 to 63 cm.
Yes. The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim is a Class E (Electrical) helmet under ANSI Z89.1, and KASK states it is proof tested at 20,000 volts. It is designed for demanding environments that include electrical work, utilities and telecommunications, and combines that electrical rating with Type II top-and-lateral impact protection.
Adaptive Brim™ is KASK's proprietary method of seamlessly integrating a flexible, durable material into the helmet's brim instead of a fully rigid brim. KASK says it addresses the safety hazards of rigid brims by reducing the likelihood of neck strain in a fall and keeping the helmet stable in dynamic environments. The material resists heat, cold and UV exposure, and the design keeps the KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim fully compatible with hearing protection such as earmuffs.
They are KASK's impact and comfort technologies. D-Core is a low-density inner core in the internal shell, optimized for top impact protection. HD Crown Protection is a durable, high-density inner shell component that provides stronger side impact absorption and inner core protection, and is easy to clean. Both are made of Neopor® Ccycled® by BASF, an EPS obtained from the chemical recycling of plastic waste. Dry+ is the padding fabric, with Hydrocool® moisture-wicking technology and a deodorizing silver ion treatment, attached with the patented Click-In System for easy removal and replacement.
Yes. The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim is designed for environments that include work at height, and its chinstrap has a Ring to Hook loop that lets the wearer securely attach the helmet to a harness or other items. The retention system is tested to EN 12492 clauses 4.2.3 (retention system strength) and 4.2.4 (effectiveness of the retention system), and a lateral adjustment divider positions the chinstrap for a tailored fit. The flexible Adaptive Brim™ is designed to reduce the likelihood of neck strain in a fall.
Yes. The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim adjusts from 52 to 63 cm and weighs 1.19 lb, according to KASK. Its Adaptive Fit System integrates three components: a double-diameter dial for easier size adjustment, ergonomic side wings for a fast, secure fit against the back of the head, and KASK's patented Self Adaptive Live Hinge, which self-adjusts as the wearer moves. A lateral adjustment divider on the chinstrap fine-tunes the fit.
Yes. The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim uses Dry+ padding with Hydrocool® moisture-wicking technology and exceptionally soft textiles, infused with a deodorizing silver ion treatment. The Adaptive Fit System is built for all-day comfort, the headband is soft PA nylon, and the chin pad uses an eco-leather chinstrap that KASK describes as anallergic, washable and helping to avoid skin irritation. The full brim adds shade and protection from rain.
The KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim accepts headlamps, earmuffs, visors, face shields and badge holders. It has four removable nylon lamp clips compatible with KASK headlamps and industry headlamps with elastic bands, standard 30 mm EURO slots for KASK earmuffs, Easy Click visor adapters for visors or face shields, and a Frontal Accessory Slot for badge holders and headlamps (with a cap cover for debris protection). It also has neck protector slots, and the lamp clips include earplug hooks for quick access to hearing protection.
Industrial Safety Products offers the KASK Zenith X2 Full Brim in nine colors: White, White/Black, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Black, Light Grey and Anthracite. KASK states its HD polypropylene external shell excels in impact absorption especially at low temperatures (-30 °C) and resists yellowing and degradation, and the helmet carries the ANSI Z89.1 HT-LT (high- and low-temperature) rating.
