3M™ DBI-SALA® Tripods are constructed of lightweight tubular aluminum with a rugged steel head assembly. The DBI-SALA® Tripods can be combined with up to three pulleys to accommodate a variety of winches and fall arrest devices, meeting a wide range of confined space entry/retrieval and rescue requirements. Quick-release pins positively locate components at all adjustment points for tool-free setup and adjustment.

3M™ Protecta® Confined Space Winch is a key component of the confined-space tripod system. Loaded with a strong steel cable lifeline, oil-impregnated bearings, and a disc brake system, this winch is dependable, strong, and smooth operating.

When it comes to confined space entry/rescue, it is essential that equipment operates perfectly and quickly. Lightweight, portable DBI-SALA aluminum tripods are ideal for confined space manhole entry and retrieval. They’re easily transported from one location to another and can be set-up by one worker. Attach one or two mechanical devices such as a winch or 3-way self retracting lifeline and you’re ready to go. Our tripods are loaded with features such as locking legs, simple detent pin style adjustment, quick-mount mechanical device bracket, safety chain to prevent movement and skid resistant tread plate soles on feet.
