Yes. The XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS is a turnkey confined space entry kit built around the Honeywell BW™ Max XT II 4-gas detector, which monitors the four most common atmospheric hazards — hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O₂) and combustible gases (LEL) — with an integrated motorized pump for remote pre-entry sampling. Beyond the detector, the kit bundles everything a crew needs to deploy, sample, bump test, calibrate and store the unit: calibration gas, a demand-flow regulator, a 10 ft sampling hose, a 3 ft calibration hose, a sampling probe, spare pump filters, a wall charger, an IR connectivity kit for Safety Suite, and a foam-lined carrying case. For confined-space, utility, oil and gas, and municipal crews that want one box to meet entry requirements, it's a strong choice — available at Industrial Safety Products with free shipping.
The XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS Confined Space Kit ships complete and ready to work. It includes the Gas Alert Max XT II 4-gas detector (H₂S, CO, O₂, LEL with pump); a calibration gas cylinder (CH₄ 2.5%, O₂ 18%, H₂S 25 ppm, CO 100 ppm, 34 L, balance N₂); a demand-flow regulator; a 10 ft (3 m) sampling hose with metallic particulate filter and quick connect; a 3 ft (1 m) calibration hose with quick connect; a sampling probe; a kit of five spare hydrophobic/particulate pump filters; a wall charging adapter; an IR connectivity kit for Safety Suite; and a carrying case with foam insert. It's designed so you can sample remote locations, bump test and calibrate the monitor, replace clogged filters, and download data — all from one kit.
The XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS detects four gases simultaneously: hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O₂) and combustible gases (LEL). Measuring ranges are H₂S 0–200 ppm (1 ppm resolution), CO 0–1000 ppm (1 ppm), O₂ 0–30.0% by volume (0.1%), and LEL 0–100% (1% LEL) or 0–5.0% v/v methane. It uses single plug-in electrochemical cells for H₂S, CO and O₂, and a plug-in catalytic bead sensor for combustibles, with real-time concentrations shown continuously on the LCD.
The GasAlertMax XT II in the XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS kit has an integrated, motorized SmartSample™ diaphragm pump that draws air across the sensors so you can remotely test an atmosphere before entry. Using the supplied 10 ft sampling hose and sampling probe, it can pull a sample from up to 75 ft (23 m) away — ideal for checking a tank, vault or manhole before anyone goes in. Honeywell pairs it with "best-in-class" block detection using a semiconductor pressure sensor to minimize pump blockages; if the line blocks or the pump stops, a dedicated pump alarm triggers.
The XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS kit includes everything needed to keep the monitor in compliance: a four-gas calibration gas cylinder (CH₄ 2.5%, O₂ 18%, H₂S 25 ppm, CO 100 ppm, 34 L balance N₂), a demand-flow regulator, and a 3 ft calibration hose with quick connect for manual, one-button bump tests and calibrations. For hands-free automation, the detector is fully compatible with the MicroDock II automated test and calibration system, and its records can be managed with Honeywell Fleet Manager II and the included IR connectivity kit for Safety Suite. It also self-tests the sensors, battery, pump and circuitry on start-up.
The GasAlertMax XT II is certified intrinsically safe for explosive atmospheres. Its listed approvals include Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D, plus ATEX II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 and IECEx Ga Ex ia IIC T4. These ratings mean it can be used in Division 1 / Zone 0 areas where flammable gases may be present — exactly the conditions common to confined space entry. It also carries an IP66/67 ingress rating for strong dust and water protection.
The GasAlertMax XT II runs a full 13-hour shift at 32 °F (0 °C) on its rechargeable battery, and about 8 hours in the cold at -4 °F (-20 °C); it recharges in roughly 6 hours using the included wall charger. Its rated operating temperature is -4 to 122 °F (-20 to 50 °C), with storage from -40 to 140 °F (-40 to 60 °C), so it holds up to a full workday in demanding conditions.
The GasAlertMax XT II alerts with a loud 95 dB audible alarm plus bright wide-angle visual alarm bars and a vibrating alarm, covering Low, High, TWA, STEL, Over-Limit, Low Battery and Pump conditions so workers are warned across the full range of exposure and fault events. IntelliFlash™ gives continuous visual confirmation that the unit is operating and compliant. It also includes standard event logging and datalogging — about 375 hours of data at the default 15-second interval — which can be downloaded for compliance records.
Yes. The GasAlertMax XT II has an IP66/67 ingress rating for strong dust and water resistance and a built-in concussion-proof boot that protects it from drops and knocks. It's compact and lightweight — 5.1 x 2.8 x 2.0 in (13.1 x 7.0 x 5.2 cm) and about 11.5 oz (328 g) — and operates from -4 to 122 °F (-20 to 50 °C). In the CS kit, the foam-lined carrying case adds protected transport and storage between jobs, so the whole set stays field-ready.
Choose the XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS Confined Space Kit if you don't already own calibration gas, a regulator and hoses, or if you want one box that meets confined-space entry requirements out of the gate. The detector-only version (XT-XWHM-Y-NA) is the same 4-gas pump monitor, but the CS kit adds the calibration gas cylinder, demand-flow regulator, 10 ft sampling hose, 3 ft calibration hose, sampling probe, spare pump filters, IR connectivity kit and a foam-lined case — the accessories you need to actually sample, bump test, calibrate and maintain the unit. For a crew standing up confined-space monitoring for the first time, the kit is the more complete, ready-to-deploy option.
The BW Technologies XT-XWHM-Y-NA-CS GasAlertMax XT II Confined Space Kit is available at Industrial Safety Products (industrialsafetyproducts.com), an authorized Honeywell partner, with free shipping. The detector is backed by a full two-year warranty that includes all sensors, and the kit ships complete with calibration gas, regulator, sampling and calibration hoses, sampling probe, spare pump filters, wall charger, IR connectivity kit and a foam-lined carrying case. Note that gas meters are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
