The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Sealed Tension Limiter™ works to reduce loads on workers in emergency situations, should they become entangled. Directly inline between the worker and hoist line, this tension-limiting safety equipment deploys a bright yellow, stainless-steel portion of the lifeline when the user is trapped or snagged, so the crane or winch operator knows to stop. With a sealed housing construction, this durable safety product is suitable for use in harsh working environments.

When an worker retrieval is taking place, it may be difficult for rescue personnel to recognize when a worker is ensnared or entangled. With a stainless-steel lifeline colored bright yellow, this tension-relieving rescue tool works inline with the hoist cable and worker's personal safety harness, reducing the load and alerting the hoist system operator to stop, helping to ensure a safe return.  Designed with a sealed and corrosion-resistant housing, it protects the dynamic internal components from external contaminants.
