3M™ Mercury Vapor/Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6007 is NIOSH-approved for protection against mercury vapor, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, organic vapor and hydrogen sulfide. These cartridges are compatible with the 3M half and full facepiece respirators with a bayonet-style filter/cartridge connection or 3M™ Scott™ facepieces with 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter.

Designed to enhance field of view and comfort on the job, these cartridges feature a low-profile, swept-back design. The 3M™ Mercury Vapor/Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6007 is easy to install and compatible with many 3M half and full facepiece respirators, including the 3M™ Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series. When used with the 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, the 3M Mercury Vapor/Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6007 can be used with 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal facepieces. The 3M Mercury Vapor/Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6007 helps provide protection against mercury vapor, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, certain organic vapors and hydrogen sulfide in a variety of environments. Recommended applications for the cartridge include chemical transfer, laboratories, and line opening. It is commonly used in industries such as chemicals, mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and primary metals. After you've determined the contaminants and exposure levels in your work environment, help protect your employees with a properly selected, fitted, and used 3M™ Reusable Respirator and corresponding cartridges. 3M™ Gas/Vapor Cartridges are NIOSH-approved and help provide respiratory protection from certain vapor and/or acid gas concentrations up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepiece respirators and 50 times (50x) the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepiece respirators. Change 3M Mercury Vapor/Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6007 within 50 hours of exposure to mercury vapor, in accordance to your well-documented change-out schedule, or earlier if smell, taste or irritation from contaminants is detected. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants and help determine cartridge change-out schedules. 3M™ Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices.
