Versatile and simple to install: 3M™ Bayonet Particulate Filters provide protection against a wide range of dusts, mists and other particles. 3M™ Particulate Filters 2000 Series and 2200 Series provide low breathing resistance and good balance with a slim design. They are flame resistant and easy to install. Simply choose the filter type that’s suitable for your individual needs and requirements, align the connection and twist to lock into place with a quarter turn. 3M™ Particulate Filters 2000 Series, 2200 Series and 7000 Series are compatible with 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepieces, 6500/6500QL Series, 7500 Series, 6000 Series Full Facepieces, FF-400 Series, 7800 Series and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, thus helping to reduce inventory needs. 3M™ Particulate Filters 7000 Series are encased in hard plastic cases to help protect them from damage, dirt, decontamination spray showers, debris, sparks and high temperatures. Help protect your workforce: 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants and help determine cartridge change-out schedules. 3M Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices. 3M™ Bayonet Particulate Filters are NIOSH-approved and are designed to help filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants when used with half and full facepieces, and certain 3M™ Scott™ Full Facepieces. These filters help provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Some models include nuisance level organic vapor and/or acid gas relief. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases (except hydrogen fluoride on certain models). Change 3M™ Bayonet Particulate Filters when they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through.
